As I am sure most of you now know it is connaught plc and connaught partnerhips that has gone tits up. I was doing the grounds maintenance at the exeter head office. Connaught enviromental and compliance is still operating normaly so it is really just the social housing side that is effected. They have now sold most of their contracts and associated assets and anyone who is owed money as a contractor is unlikly to see it. Luckly I was aware of their problems and after a lot of chasing they paid my invoice by credit card last Friday ( just in time ). It is one contract I now no longer have but I am thankfull I dont have a full time job with them.
