Re: any one use a vauxhall zafira for work?

thanks for the response i think im going to go with the zafira, their should be plenty of room in the boot for what i want plus it gives me more room for family days out. The two extra seats in the rear will be left down 99% of the time plus i can always upgrade to a van once i am busy enough.

The Sharan I had was a joy to drive. So much space and very comfortable.

I dropped off & picked up 6 people plus camping gear for a festival up north last year. Even fully loaded it still pulled well !

What engine was yours mate? Id defo have another.

Ive vinyled the back windows too, makes it look a little bit different to "just a car"

2.0L petrol on a V plate.

Engine went on it a year ago this weekend. There was no service history with it when I bought it. I know why though... Probably because it hadn't been serviced !

Would definatley go for another... I like the new shaped Galaxys... Though if I got one it would be a family vehicle. Yours looks good with the back windows vinyl'ed out. Looks half man half beast... I mean half van half car !
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

zafira on pic looks nice - new galaxy is nice to tho!

be a shame to buy that and start throwing work crap in it tho - i think most of us treat our work van alot different to the family car.

one thing to maybe think about - alot of guys will go into wfp with a backpack or trolley and then realise a van mount is a must for them after only a few months - so would you put a tank in the zafira?

From the pic, the zafira does look maybe a little too small? The newer sharans/galaxys to mine look smart

A friend of mine has this zafari opc, and its a bit small in my point of view.

If you want a family car like that, I would go for a Ford S-Max  ;D

i started out with a van system after a year or so i got fed up reeling hose in an out moving the van so many times a day it was a wind up so i brought the freedom trolley i use 1.5mm jets in brush a shortened slx and it works better for me, i think it depends on how your round is laid out, i got a little 70 ltr tank and drums so some times i leave trolley in motor attached to 50m of pole tubing and remote for of an on, really my round suits the trolley better but a combo system of both is the way forward, i also carry a backpack for those odd jobs when you got to walk through the house to get to the back as there is no access,

i would say for new comers a trolley is a good way to start and can be adapted to a van system and grow as you do, but cant rule out the backpack its a handy item.
