Just got a call from a guy who has spilled a large glass of port on a light blue carpet.AS i havent come across this before(that i know of) i assume treat it as if it were a red wine stain. Not being a wine drinker i know nothing about port either so is there anything else i should be aware of guys/gals.Regards Alan(swindon)

Alan
Port is simply fortified wine - brandy (usually) is added to it and it has a higher sugar content than red wine.
But yes, treat it as you would red wine and good luck
