I know that probably isn't the best heading for a thread! But, and I realise some may think it's unprofessional, but went for a walk with my daughter dropping leaflets, with the promise of popping to the shop on the way home. Well she was happily posting leaflets while I did the neighbours, when she came over saying 'daddy the lady wants you!' Confused a little I went to see what she was on about, and the lady from the house she had just leafleted had come out, she wanted me to clean her windows, her daughters and her dads! Three new customers from a seven year olds efforts! And had two more people ask about quotes! So people grab your kids, promise them a comic and send them out canvassing!

at 25 and 29 i think they are a bit old for a comic

When I 1st started nearly 3 years ago me, misses and son went leafletting, 4 weeks ago I picked up a new custy, he remembers my son putting the leaflet through the door and told his wife (she has since passed) that one day I will have that company clean my windows

i believe it does work,if the householder sees a youngster leafletting,they like it.  my kids were too young but i had 2 teenagers leaflet for me and they were seen and i got a goodly response .

 by the same token i also had a huge bellied middle aged woman leaflet for me and although she didnt get normally as good a response ,she was better at pounding the streets,day after day . she also walked Hadrians wall one weekend and was a bit of a character ,wore flip flops
