for those that employ pt staff on 16 hours,  r they set days or as and when u need then in the week, and when do u decided if the days work will go ahead, ie in the morning or night before

My mate who works with me is also a decorator so we work around each others schedules, i usually phone him the night before to confirm once ive checked the weather and then pick him up in the morning but if the weathers rubbish on the day then no pay!
