pump stops and pulses

ive a sureflo pump and a varistream controller has been fine for ages last few days cant set it any higher than 2 before it cuts out even when its not been connected to my hose any help/advice would be great phil

Have you tried the pressure switch.

isnt the pressure switch disconnected when using a varistream?

when using a varistream the unit replaces the pressure switch.

You may have a blockage somewhere inbetween the pump and the end of the hose.

have you recently changed anything ie the lengh of your hose/any fittings...

have you checked the power?

if the battery is low then it will pulse - the varistream will pulse but the light stays green

if you have a blockage the pump stops and light goes red

I was having similar problems with mine a while back. Fixed a loose wire and then realised that the small filter just before the pump was minging too.

Fingers crossed it's working fine now. Hope this helps mate

have disconnected pres switch cant find any air leaks/locks batt fine + no blockages ?
