[Sapphire Window Cleaning]

I know this has been covered before, but I can't find the post.
How many of you guys rinse with brush on?
you you find when rinsing brush on that it leaves brush marks on the window?
I tried today on my own windows, I was quite surprised how well they actually came up. I was using an extel pole with a vikan mono brush.
I haven't tried it with my SLX yet.

I rinse on and off , it is odd I will rinse on high up no probs on high commercial work, yet a lower work same building I rinse off..... I guess we all clean what feels comfortable

HI Matt,  the majority of work i rince on - same as stu high flow rate,  but there are some windows
i rince off usually ground floor and some patio doors - this is peculicar to some properties where
i get a lot of cr@p and even rince off takes a while but i can see and chase it debris down the glass.

never had any brush marks left behind

im still cleaning second cleans(the odd first clean)WFP so im rinsing brush off for now.

im using the black supalite dual trim flocked brush for maintenance cleans.i have got a supalite mono but i dont like it really(its splayed at the ends after only a couple of weeks!) :

ive got a vikan mono but its too heavy for my main pole.its ok on my short downstairs pole though.

i suppose if the windows are fairly clean with good frames,clean mono brush and good flow it might be ok!but im not that confident with wfp YET!!

rinsing with brush is okay on maintenance cleans works
4 weekly but lets face it 99 times out of a 100 they are virtually
clean anyway.

wouldnt dream of rinsing on when i have to really clean
some windows

DEFFINATLY LEAVE THE BRUSH ON MATE  BEEN TO SEE A JOB I DID LAST WEEK WHEN I DID THIS CAME UP FAB WHY IS IT THAT SOME CUSTIES LIKE WFP AND SOME HATE IT

heres what i do:

brush on: if a regular clean, if the water is coming down the glass in a 'curtain' style flow.

brush off: dirty windows, extra dirt from frames ends up on glass ie - spiders, cobwebs ....

not saying this is the best way but it def works well for me

We have posted this in repsonse to a previous post of your Dazmond, We will post it again:

I use both methods and the way I do it with brush on is lift the one side of the brush up with the other half staying on the glass and rinse from left to right with up and down movements.

And did not leave any brush marks as you are rinsing over the brush marks.

If this is any help or even try it out.

i have some findings for you, Ive played about with this, OK rinse in on Ive found fan jets an a dual trim mono good for this method, now there is some draw backs there can be some small particles left behind after rinsing i turn flow up but still leaves little bits sometimes, but when dry you cant see them, so on regular cleans its fine, but for first cleans not for me, another issue i find is i rinse on glass anything above ground floor but cant get the knack doing on ground floor and fan jets rinse in off the glass has issues with vents an sometimes a bit of spotting,

now for rinsing off i found pencil jets 1.5mm with a single trim mono, this is perfect for me, draw back its slightly slower than above method but good for grubby jobs an first cleans.

there is no wrong in any method its what suits you really.

I have started rinsing on with an autobrush, Believe the actual brush is a salmon brush. Its got fan jets. been a couple of weeks so far no complaints, prefer it to rinsing off if continues to get good results. Not very impressed with the autobrush mechanism though, crap for turning on, I am going to have to modify it, pretty pants for 80 odd quid!!!
