Hi all,

Still got to sort this one out.  If you live in a flat or apartment, how are you filling your van tank each night ??

Surely using DI vessel instead of RO is more expensive as the purchase of resin would exceed the equivalent water bills.  I am using approximately between 350-400 litres of water a day, and currently use a 300GPD RO set-up which is set up in my kitchen (water source comes from outside tap with hosec run through holes drilled in plastic cat flap) and i run the outlet to my van tank (which is parked up the side of my house), my tank has a float switch fitted with a solenoid shut off valve. All fine at the moment.

Problem is i am looking save a bit of money and as i currently live on my own, was thinking of down sizing to a nice apartment.  But how the heck am i gonna fill my van tank up each night if i do ????

matthew i live in a first floor flat.i run hose down the stairs to a monster 25L DI TANK and fill 12 barrels up most nights(300L).it takes me about 50 mins to fill.nice and simple and fast!my tds is 35-70.i hoping my resin lasts me about 5-6 months.im on a water meter so with the waste water from an ro it would send my bills through the roof!also itll take ages to get 300L OF PURE ready to use for the next days work!!
