Interesting selection, but a bit more research would have made you aware that O/P machines are the way to go in L/M - V/L/M carpet cleaning .

You won't find a great deal on O/P cleaning on here, but it's been growing steadily in the U S and Canada over the past decade with development of machines / pads / chemicals.

I started experimenting with it about 10 years ago after importing a little machine from America and playing around with Orecks.

Hi David,

I "cut my teeth" on LM systems 6 years ago, when i was deciding wether or not to go into CC. I got exellent results generally but realised there ARE limitations....hence i went down the route of offering HWE & LM (sponges).

I like your website, and note that you mention deep upholstery cleaning....how do you plan to accomplish that? Is it with the spot pro ? because if it is it will leave fabrics pretty wet! .........

I can see Martin and I are going to be allies around here going forward.  ;)

Thanks Jacko, at the moment I am still cleaning upholstery using HWE but I am looking at other options including a 'by hand' service using pre-spray then upholstery mit approach (I'm just waiting the 'traditional' remarks on that comment!)...... the website as it is up at the moment is really just a prototype / test I was playing around with.  As others have pointed out I think it still has the Extracta logo on at the moment!  :o

Here's a one for people; the skeptics are welcome to dismiss this as propaganda but for anyone that saw my other thread where I used too high a PH, without acid rinse on my mother-in-laws carpet, leaving it hard and with some blue blotchy areas;  I have just used (a lot of) Envirodri sponges on it, agitated it with the GEN4, gave it 40 minutes and then the vacuum from hell - complete result.   All blue spots completely gone (I put a pile of sponges on each and hand brushed with a Tampico before using the GEN4), and the brittleness in the fibres has also gone.  It's as though the sponges have conditioned the fibres beautifully.

I'm not being evangelical about 'dry' in saying that, just proves that every problem has a fix.  Gospel truth though, the envirodri has really fixed the issue.   :)

I wish you well too mate, I reckon LM is probably ideal for your business.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
