lost a contract.
« on: July 21, 2010, 07:21:14 am »
Hi Guys,

We had a contract, it was not ours as such as we were subbies. We were cleaning Mercedes showrooms - not all of them.

The company that had it, lost it on price to a new tender which at the time I was unaware of.

The other day the staff at Mercedes they came out and gave me the details of the new company that was taking over... they were very nice, and said we have asked if they would keep you on as you were the best window cleaner we had, and you always done the extras if we asked.

They passed our details on a well.

Thought that was good of them.

So I telephoned the new company and they are doing it so low its ridiculous. Its as though they are taking on work just for the sake of turnover and nothing else.

Anyways its a shame I liked going there and enjoyed the windows even in the rain. Very nice people.

Prime Cleaning Contracts in East Grinstead now have the contract.

The price now is below half of what we were charging. That was around £270 + vat for 1 showroom. That included internals as well.

Once a week visits.
