That live cable was to low and too close to a public building, live pylon cables in rural areas is fine but in buit up areas? That cable should have been under ground at that point

Unlike in the UK - in the US and Oz many overhead powerlines are unsheathed near buildings.

I have touched phone wires and power wires here - but fortunately they were low voltage or sheathed.

A good warning for all.
