Local sainsburys to me external glass above 6ft minging, asked inside and spoke to the cleaning supervisor i was told that she worked for another company that worked for sainsburys and the external glass above 6ft was included in the contract on a quarterly clean although it hadn't been done for 4yrs or more, rang the cleaning companies area mgr offering my services as a subby and said no problem with travel etc ie i'd do them all, she said i'll get back to you, that was 18mths ago. went in the other week and they had been done to an appalling standard, hacks me off.
dont look who's to blame, look how to fix it. anon

I did the refurb clean on the Sainsbury's at Warrington but never cleaned the windows. That was two years ago, if not more.

The principal contractor. It is nothing to do with the maintenance of the stores. I work on refurb programmes, for various supermarkets. It is very much the same contractors on each different store.

The windows would have been cleaned by the contractor who looks after the internal cleaning on the Warrington refurb, inside and out. They are always done to a very high standard but I know nothing about the window cleaning ongoing after a store has been handed over to Sainsbury's.

I have a good friend and close contact, who gets me work on the Southern refurb programme and I know he has several stores that he has one or two cleaners in on a daily basis, whether they take care of the windows, again I wouldn't know.
