hi, i have purchased a Airflex Turbo 600psi and so far i am really pleased, however has anyone used it with 150ft hose which the literature says it can work with? i have gone to 50ft at most so far as my van would stuggle to hold 150ft of hose!

I've run mine at 125ft with no problems that was on a staircase and corridor, but have to say I have never needed anything beyond 50ft 2" for most domestics with a 10ft whip to fit 1.5" tools. The way to get the best out of it though is use 2" hose on long hose runs and if you can stretch to it a 2" wand in a perfect world. I've got a Movano with loads of room but yes hose does take up a lot of room!

i have tried looking for a 2" wand and cant find one? why cant i use a 1.5" wand with a 1.5-2" reducer?

I do that Justin, and I find it works very well.

There are purests though, who quiet rightly, will say you losing something by starting at 1.5" so you really need 2".

2" is usually much heavier though. Got to way up the pros and cons.

Ive got the aiflex turbo 600psi and I have used it at 175 and plenty powerful.

Results speak for themselves.

And whats I find great is we have tanks in the van and no need to keep topping up. You will be suprised on the time that saves.

i really appreciate this, thank you. also, i have a vivarro (its one of the old bt vans that has the racking in?) whats the best way to store 150ft of hose? the reels i have looked at at alltec are mega expensive and to big! currently i am using a large garden storage round bag and getting 75ft in there, however winding it up by hand and putting it back is a nightmare!!

Maybe try bungee ropes mate and it takes time to get used to the packing away bit.

I run a machine with similar components to yours and even with auxilliary tanks, 150ft is feasible. As a stand alone porty, 200 ft is an option.  OK, as with every porty or T/M ever built, performance drop off at longer hose runs is inevitable, but with attention to detail, you will still be able to work to high standards.
