Microsplitting.
« on: June 18, 2010, 12:53:09 pm »
Suppose I was one of those people who thought if it wasn't detergent it would be no good was I Wrong. I went to Carpex earlier in the year and after talking to a guy on the Amtech stand came away with 20l of their premium carpet & upohlstery microsplitter I have been cleaning suites with it since and have been getting Great results. Yesyerday went to a customers small kitchen/ dinningroom and i still had quite a bit mixed in my sprayer well normally I would have tipped it out and mixed some detergent prespray, but I thought why not so gave it a go on what was a very greasy carpet and the results where Brilliant SO GUESS WHO IS NOW A CONVERT ::) ::) ::) only taken me about 4years to try them.

Cheers Tony

I,ve resorted back to using micro splitters myself after a couple of years of using first m power and then traditional detergents again.

Now using dfc 105 on just about everything with great results after first just using it on sofas as didnt think it would cut it on most carpets but even better is that it safe to use on just about every fabric :)

I do Tony, Big fan of Pureclean on most jobs but always got an eye out for the most effective microsplitters (costwise too) I might give amtech's a trial run.

If I could find a m/s that will stop me reaching for powerburst and citra boost on trashed synths, I'd be a very happy fella.

Tried Nemesis recently which (for me) knocked spots off mpower. Maybe it's the water in my area that doesnt agree with mpower... or the moon wasnt lined up with jupiter correctly whenever i mixed it which in turn had a negative effect on the chemical make up of the solution......... ::)

Try cleansmart's HD X Splitter, ph 12.5. Rinse with acidic rinse of your choice. I've also had good results on poly using split X premium with a 50% dilution of Pureclean in the tank. ( 1 scoop per 10L)

Hi Guys

It's worth remebering that the microslitter chemical is sodium tripolyphosphate and Pureclean is that in a solid form, whereas most others are already diluted and buffered so that you get higher and lower concentrations and pH's.

Also I have heard that Nemesis and MPower are the same.

Cheers

Microsplitting is all a big oooha about nothing.. tryed it and now gone back to using Ultimate Master and StaBrite, having much better consistant results. When I'm agitating with the sebo after spraying UM down, you can visibly see the spots, marks and some stains dissappearing even before the rinse.

Tony

I use the same M/S as you.  I get great results on near everything with it, its a good all rounder, I think some M/S must be less effective than others for people to not rate them very highly.  I've been trying out Powerburst along side it and haven't really seen any difference between them.
