Wfp or trad do you clean frames and glass or glass only?

Can you say what  you do and why!

Whole package as a selling point. To me, a window clean is the entire window, not beautiful glass & dirty frames

Yes we are window cleaners not glass polishers.

Everything - frames - sills - doors - porch area  and oh yes  glass from time to time 

why ?

because thats the service we offer, a complete job.

i understand years ago a w/c not doing frames as they were either wood or metal (crital ?) or worse leaded.
but with modern upvc i see no reason not to do frames as its a quick wipe over.

Traditional - everything - frames, sills, sometimes lights, numbers, doors and occasionally I even do the glass.

Some of the clue is in the name "Window Cleaner" rather than glass cleaner.

just glass unless they ask for frames and pay extra ,if you tried to put it on price they would tell you to leave the frames

Quite the opposite for me stan, i am £2 dearer than others because i do frames

i make sure the face edge of upper sills is clean and downstairs sills are shiney and  all frames hav a quick wipe over with rag

wfp clean all of it, have to clean all if trad now.

when was trad only I only ever cleaned the glass frames was an extra.

Some say your not just a glass cleaner, but on the other side of the coin your not a frame cleaner your a window cleaner.

glass only will make you more money if trad imo

Clean frames downstairs - because that's what get noticed. Sills have to be clean up and down. Quick wipe over of frames upstairs. I think it looks bad if the frames are filthy although for some customers if they've got really filthy it's an extra price

when i was trad i didn`t do frames unless requested and at an extra cost. but now wfp i do the lot .
