vikan easy shine
« on: May 25, 2010, 11:02:43 pm »
hi all

just wondered what the easy shine kit is like and would it be worth buying to use on the inside of con-roofs.

cleaned the outside of a lantern today (glass tent shape roof on flat roof)

sorry if you all already knew what it was called, (i didn't :D)

when i finished cleaning outside it was clear was alot of dust inside; would be pain in bum to do with ladder inside, also as per usual magnolia paint-work :o

don't want dirty drips on paintwork, so was wondering if easyshine kit would be worth investing in £70 alot for me to spend if once in a blue moon, i'd use :-\

just wondered what you all think
thanks lee

I reckon it would be ok for that job, but it does depend on how often you have that sort of work. If you can mop and blade it, then I reckon it would be better. Try making one for yourself. You could probably make a basic version for less than half that.

I found the microfibre mop head smeared rather than cleaned. The vikan one is much better. They are about £6 each I think and you might need a few for a large job.
