I wouldn't drink it unless you use food grade resin, also RO water has a pH of 5 which is a little acidic so "could" upset your stomach.

Of course you can drink ro water that's why you can buy systems to fit in the home   :

Being chemically pure is not the same thing as being biologically sterile. The tank in your van gets filled up every day from a hose that gets dragged across the ground, or at least mine does.
