Daz i use a twin 40 ro system, its great. with your water pressure you would have no problems using it without a booster pump, are you sure its 60psi?? wish mine was!! :( couple of pre filters and your 40/40 and bobs your uncle!!
I produce 1000 ltrs in 3 hours with mine.
go for it matey! :)

the pressure gauge on my ro man reads 60 psi , no booster pump.

whats the product to waste like on these?

what size pre filters ? and i presume 40-40 refers to 2 40" membranes.

40-40 is a 4inch by 40inch single membrane

IMO 300gpd is cheaper to run that 4040.

Optimum waste ratio on 4040 is 30:70 (pure:waste).

300gpd is around 50:50 and in my experience the product water is as good as any RO. Mine comes down from 200 to 004 with 52psi.

Also membranes on 300gpd are a lot cheaper.

If you don't need rapid water production stick with the 300 GPD system.

It is as if not more efficient at getting rid of TDS and as has already been mentioned the waste/pure ratio is very good.
