anyone know where i can get a big gloria from, apart from soho

i know there over £200 quid from smartseal, just wondered if i can save a few pennies, i'll do a search but if anyone knows before i commit, that be greet.

Worth a bid derek and you could always get new seals etc for the sprayer..

even at £200 + they are money in the bank, i did thousands of hours with mine before it gave up, the newer ones are a slightly better design and should last even longer imo. there was only a difference of a few pounds so got mine from the importers who will give you good back up service.

i also have the 5ltr version with a spray gun that i use for upholstery, that also saves loads of time, one fill up does a whole suite, no back and forth to the kitchen to fill a 1.5ltr pump up.

As has already been said Derek, they ain't cheap, but they are a good bit of kit, and will last you years if well looked after.
I've had a couple of 10 Litre Stainless Steel ones now for almost 7 years. Just had to replace a few seals and o-rings here & there.
Good service from GPS Sprayers in Thame (as per Colins link) on new kit and spares.

Talking of Glorias, I have one that is 20 years old, got it from SM when I started, seen better days now, the plastic base has worn down and broken and it leaks from the preessure release valve on top, so isnt really reliable any more.

I tried to find their site a while ago to see if I could get it fixed, couldnt so went off and bought a couple of plastic ones, the Glorias weigh a ton especially the 15 ltr one when its full.

Plastic ones are great, you can see what you have left and are so  much lighter.

Until, working today and the smaller 1 1/2 liter sprayer went 'dry' on me and the seal has come off the plunger, dont know how to open it, its called a Mesto and I bought them on Ebay, buy it now. but I cant find their details, lost the receipt I got it from a company called I think SJ sprayers or similar and they are from Greys Essex but I cant find them.

Help any body?

The 10 litre Galvanised Steel sprayer fitted with viton seals and an 8004 spray tip suitable for this sort of application is £186.80.  Please be aware that prolonged exposure to Xylene or a similar cleaning agent may be damaging to the sprayer tank liner.

If you are using Xylene or similar as an application you may wish to consider a Stainless Steel unit which is £229.47 for the same specification.

Carriage to a main land UK destination is £13.00.

not big enough tony and i want a gloria with one of them tips, 8004 by the sounds of it, does anyone know if the smart seal glorias are stainless steel? i'll ring em tomorrow.

derek, these s/s sprayers take the 'top hat' type spray tips so you can put various sizes in. i generally use a 04" which lays a good amount of pre-spray down, you can change it for larger than that or smaller in seconds. i prefer the fan type, more control than the conical tips. i think they are around £1 or £1.50 and last for ages,
