recently i saw a forum topic about a man wanting to bypass the water tank on his backpack by running a hose extension from his pump inlet pipe to a water tank.

i have a trolley system and am considering the same.

it has a 70psi pump but im wondering weather it has the power to suck as well as push the water through as the inlet comes from the bottom and may use gravity to push water through.

anyone heard of burning a pump out this way?

Anyway Daniel I think you have not had an answer to this because it is not clear what you want to do (well not to me anyway)

If you try and explain it again I sure someone will be able to give you some advice.

the guy wanted to place a backpack in his van and run a hose from the backpack to a tank and run a hose reel from the backpack to his pole

i cant find it on here but it was answered on another forum pete

but i have no idea if it will burn out the pump but i wouldnt think so as all the pumps work by sucking the water

Someone on another forum connected his Omnipole tsr 35 trolley (70psi) to the tank in his van and it worked well as a van mount.
