BARRIER MATS
«

I am considering adding a barrier mat service to my carpet cleaning business.
Does anyone else do this? If so I would be grateful if you could assist with the following:
1. Where do you source your mats?
2. How much do you charge?
3. How often do you replace the mats for your customers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Daniel,
i used to sell the Magimats. you'll find them at magimat.com but in the last year i find that there are many cheaper mats on the market and find it hard to sell mine now. places like Wilkingsons, Morrisons &Tesco to name but a few have cheaper alternatives
i always mention my magimat but have little joy

I take it your taking about commercial barrier mats.
Unless your doing loads its not worth it as the mats arnt cheap for the real macoy that is and it takes a lot of time to collect, clean and return every two weeks.
Best to source a local company who supply mats and see if you can act as an 'agent' for them for your own customers. Get a reduced rate from them and add on your cut. You invoice your customers and the other company delivery and collect the mats.
Thats what I do anyway.
