Window Cleaning Forum / Re: DPF removal

Strangely - here - once a vehicle reaches 40 years old it doesn't need an MOT.

My 44 year old Suzuki GS850 hasn't had an MOT for four years. Although I personally have it checked over by an MOT tester every couple of years just for my peace of mind.

Didn't Starmer announce recently that he was going to introduce an MOT requirement for all cars on the road no matter their age?

Another thing that amazes me is that caravans and trailer aren't registered and taxed in this country. Oversees they are and carry their own number plate and have to display a current tax disc.

I am DI only, I also have a hot tap outside. So during the winter months I fill up with hot water. which stays toasty until i finish.
I use the the gardiners blue pencil jets , so 200 ltres  enables me to do 250 to 300 pound .

I didn’t know vans wouldn’t be charged. Must have missed the small print 👍

The only time we really struggle with cold water is on conservatories that have no internal heating inside when it's a couple degrees below as that freezes almost instantly, other than that it's pretty straight forward.

My immersion defrosted rooflights and conservatories sides quite happily. Hoses nice and supple too.

Less than £100. Run without a hitch for over 6 years.

Always makes me laugh when the hot users pop up this time of year telling anyone who will listen how amazing hot water is  ;D

I managed just fine with cold, started at 8, it was 5 degrees by 10am and 10 degrees in the afternoon.  8)

My pump went after a year so I bought 2 because I was expecting the other to go and that was 5 years ago. Always better to have a spare lying about so you can replace it right away. 😉

Yes you’re right. However we downsized 6 years ago and now I’m part time without the large garage I had before so don’t store much now other than fittings.
A couple of days off and a busier week next week isn’t any drama.

Minus 2 degrees when I started on the glass this morning. I could feel the ones parked up deicing their windscreens wondering how my water was pumping away without any problems
