Title: Removing bath bomb stains
Post by: JJR on October 12, 2021, 09:50:38 am
Morning

I have a client who has stained their carpet with a bath bomb.

I have no previous experience of this - Could anyone please advise the best was to remove the stain?

Many thanks
Jim

Hi,

Can only presume its a solid soap/carbonate mixture that fizzes when placed in water. Its likely to contain a dye, most probably an azo dye.

What background are you removing it from? It can be a struggle to get a vibrant azo out of pp.

My personal experience of removing azo's is to opt for the lower hanging fruit.
