Peter was a top bloke. Great innovator too.
When I first started window cleaning his forum and advice got me set up. I couldn’t even begin to count how many people he helped.
Really sad news.

I had a Fogwash. Very sad

I got into wfp in 2005 by buying one of Peter Fogwill's trolley systems. It had two 25L barrels in a wheeled frame, a 60psi shurflo pump in a box and a small car battery hanging off the back.
It came with an unger aluminium pole with the hose outside that in theory could be made up to 40 feet.
This all sat in my 1991 Honda Civic estate car!
So sorry to hear Peter has passed away.

Sad day.
Peter was always an insporation.
Condolences to Peters family.

Sorry to hear the tragic news of Peter. I remember him clearly, he was inspirational to others. I remember he use to brag he could clean the front of a house in no time at all and put some vids up to back up his word. He had some good ideas, met him once to talk to, top bloke.
-
Sad to hear the news about Peter.
I too started off on Wfp with his trolley system many moons ago.
I popped out to his workshop in Uphall a few times over the years for spares and repairs and he was such a helpful guy and I can remember telling him about the Clean it up forum and I think that planted the seed for his forum on his website.
I moved over to a van mounted system and never had the need to call him again but i still had his number stored on my phone.
Last time I was out at his workshop he was showing me his prototype for his clampless pole and I was very interested but it never came to anything.
A innovator and a hell of a nice bloke to boot.
Rip.

The clampless pole chap?
He did make them, I bought one
RIP Peter
-
Sad news indeed - My condolences to Peter's family if they read this.
He and I have had some good chats over the years :)
-
I spoke to peter a few times over the phone going back several years ago, in the early days of going wfp, and he seemed like a nice, helpful & decent fella. Ive still got 2 of his excellent fogwash water heaters in my loft that i don't use nowadays.
Condolences to his family & friends.
RIP peter, thanks for your helpfulness in our industry.
God Bless M.

Sad news Indeed My thoughts to Peters family at a difficult time.

Peters forum was the first one that I ever joined back in the day my old mate Jeff Brimble used to do a lot for him too. R.I.P. Sadly missed.
-
very sad news. RiP :(
-
His forum started me off and a lot of others wow. What a sad day this ???
-
That's really sad. My first ever WFP pole was from him - and I had one of his autobrushes too. He answered loads of my messages and stupid questions when I was starting out. :'(
-
RIP Peter, will be sadly missed
-
An inspiration for sure 👍

Learned a lot when I first started off him though many of his posts were old by the time I started WFP.
I remember his advice, may have been a video on just how little water you actually need to clean windows.
Still keep it in mind with my 250 ltr tank!

Wasn't that Thimble Brimble the electric window cleaner? He could clean a window using a Thimble full of water. But he never cleaned the top frame.
Peter didn't believe in controllers. A full flow meant you could work quicker, rinse faster and save water.
He always said that if it takes a litre of water to wash a window, better to use it quickly than to use the same amount over a longer time on a lower flow rate.

Bugger !

I started off my WFP with Peter's kit, and still have, and use, the trolley to this day (though heavily modified) Peter was always willing to give advice on the phone, (sometimes daily!) a very helpful bloke.
-
He was ahead of his time to be honest.
