Title: Vacuum cleaner recommendations?
Post by: Gogpre Launch on October 19, 2020, 06:03:38 pm
I am needing a new vacuum cleaner for carpet cleaning. I am currently considering a eufy robovac 11 carpet (https://www.proscenic.com/blog/-b0105.html),
I think it's the Rotator Pro, says it is actually 3 vacuums in one.
Does anyone here have one of these?
Do you like it?

Get something that your customers won't have, and which they perceive to be professional, like a Sebo BS36 or 46, or any well made solid thing like a secondhand Kirby.

I have a BS36 and a Kirby.....sometimes think the Kirby is going to suck the whole carpet in......great on carpet tiles and with the turbo zip brush.

Kirby’s are overly expensive but sell for a fraction of the price on eBay

The sebo Dart is a good vacuum, its what I use, i've had three and will buy one again. I had a go with a Shark the other day... wasn't impressed to be honest.

I have a tub vac and find it brilliant, the hose is about 20ft long so I can do a Full room without moving it. With a stiff head I can really scrub the carpet to loosen all the dirt, it’s hard on the shoulders but much more aggressive than an upright.

It’s an industrial one (forgot its name) but the suction is much more than an average upright vacuum

Mind you, with a decent TM, you won't need a vacuum  ;D

I have had a karcher cv48 for a few years now and I rate it higher than sebo. Suction is much better and the bag cover is at the front so you can change bags without having to unwind the power lead. The only downside I find is fitting vacuum bags on is a hard work due to how the have made the plastic orifice and clip. All in all a great vacuum cleaner, mind you it's not cheap.

I always recommend one of the best brands vacuum companies to choose from that is Dyson, Hoover, iRobot, or shark. One must a vacuum cleaner if home or office if they have a pet  to clean pet hair.

If you wish to advertise please email forum admin. Mod note.

For reliability, longevity, performance and ease of repairs (if necessary) a Sebo wins for me every time.

In the last 30 years I have repaired many a Sebo vac.
Purely because the wearing parts - floor plates, brushes, belts and a VERY few motors.
They are a professional vac and are enough unlike domestic so look the part as well as finishing the job left by domestic vacs.
