What is it actually on  ...  looks American  , but UK machines should have fixed cords ?
What ever it is  ... youv got the carpet cleaning parts  premium added to it big time  ... there is no way in hell it cost £76 in the real world .

Yep....the carpet cleaner rip off  :( :(

If it for carpet cleaners quadruple the price,  the thick idiots won’t complain

I thought they are expensive so that's why I've asked if I could find them anywhere else . Or is there other solution to change them?
The machine came with it like that .

How technically minded are you? I would think they are a generic part in the USA but specialist here, are you able to change the part or directly wire the cable into the machine. Most machines don’t come with a detachable power cable

I modified my Powrflite several years ago when they still had pigtail leads
hanging out of the back. I used these.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Neutrik-NAC3FCA-PowerCon-Plug-Blue/dp/B002EDS1FM

Still going strong after 7 years or so. They were a lot more expensive then as new to the market.
You may find them cheaper than that, socket on the back of the machine, plug on the lead.
