Title: Caravan cleaning!
Post by: Mike Halliday on March 22, 2020, 04:32:30 pm
Just had a thought :D

All them caravan sat on people drive doing nothing, not getting used. Perfect time to give them a full interior valet, carpets upholstery, mattresses, curtains, the kitchens..... EVERTHING!

If I wasn’t as busy as a bee I would be printing off some letters and driving around looking for caravans on peoples drives.

A service I already provide. I think it will still fall flat as people won't be using them until the crisis is over. Maybe in 3 months time we may get enquiries once sites start to re open. If I have to self isolate I will use my caravan.Just park it on the drive and plug into the mains electricity.

I was thinking that people won’t want us in their homes but their caravans might be ok. You could clean them with almost zero contact with the owner

I am currently self isolating and considering buggering off in my caravan as that way I can self isolate, keep 2 Metres from anyone and have loads of fresh air

This just out from Department of digital, culture, media and sport:
Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities.
