Hi Demise,

I think you will have trouble finding a cold fogger,  not sure if John Kelly has managed to source any , I Do believe he was out of stock.   Thermal foggers are of no use as they kill the active ingredients that kill the virus. That came from JK and Chemspec themselves for formula 492.

I  do think a quality pump up sprayer may suffice but this is going to be wetter ,slower and will not penetrate everything .
I stand corrected if I am wrong , but this is what I am led to believe.

Geoff

No foggers available in the country as far as I am aware.
There a container full of them arriving soon apparently.
But there already sold !!!!!

Yes I just heard they were all sold, probably to NHS. Might go with sprayers, slower but they have their uses.

Foggers are next to impossible to get.  Every Country in the World wants them.  All the ones coming into the Country between now and mid April are sold.  I have hunted everywhere for them and Disinfectant Spray.  Finally managed to get some  of the latter which arrives Monday.

I know of 2  USAF NBC   Decontamination  units that are for sale, these are like foggers on steroids designed  to spray large open areas.

Just thinking out of the box......

So you want to create a fog of chemical, basically an air propellant delivering a chemical at a measured droplet size. What other industry uses such a system?

Thanks for all replies. We’re deep cleaning some hospital wards this weekend and teamed up with company who has fogging machine to come in after us, all being done to receive ICU equipment.

Did anyone tried foggers from China? There seem to be some available on 3 - 4 weeks time.

I have 2 ULV cold foggers left of my latest delivery, likely to be the last I can get from the UK importer for a while.

£290 each plus £20 postage

20 to 60 adjustable micron
4 litre tank
1200 watts motor
6 metre spray

They from Europe, not China!!

Comes boxed, brand new, with spares (hose and seals), UK fused BS plug and English instructions.

Great foggers - I use them myself. I've done infection control cleaning for over 12 years, hence why I have a UK contact to source these.

May have some trijet ones soon, they are in transit but not sure on ETA.

Do you have any specs/info on the next foggers you are expecting? Thanks

The next ones are Tri jets - similar spec to the Prochem Tri jets - just lots cheaper!

They are in transit, hopefully in UK soon.

The main problem is the manufacturer supply of parts is stalling, so if you need a fogger and see a UK in stock fogger at a reasonable price, grab it.

New is better than old, a lot of the used ones being sold will of been stored without use for a while as they weren't a big use item in the past so could suffer from rusted fins etc or poor storage.

I've seen 10 year old or older B&G Foggers go for £800+ which all things considered, I'd rather trust a new one even if it isn't B&G

Ok , thanks for that. B&G have just got back onto me and they are suggesting dry steam cleaning as an alternative . Would they do the same job ?

Do you need separate training or certificates for fogging? I heard of it when doing my carpet cleaning training, but didn't cover in depth.
