If you are reading this and conned an old lady with dementia you should be ashamed and prosecuted!
The daughter of a regular customer of mine told me how recently a carpet cleaning firm cold called her mum, who I have cleaned carpets for her on a regular basis for years.
She was talked into having her lounge carpet done in her small cottage and was subsequently charged £320.
It is nothing more than a £50 - 60 job and takes around an hour normally to go through all the usual procedures.
No receipt business card or contact details were left, just a confused conned old lady.
It’s disgusting that people will do this to anyone let alone a vulnerable lovely old lady, if it rings any bells and you are reading this I hope your conscience gets the better of you and you send her a full refund.

perhaps he applied protector :D
I doubt if it would be any sort of professional, more likely a chancer with a rug doctor in his car ... next week he'll painting pensioners window sills for 320 or some other scam.

Even with protector it wouldn't come any where near that cost.

As bad as it is, it casts a shadow over the industry and has an adverse effect on all the good honest people out there offering a great service.
