Can anybody recommend a day to day cleaning product for kardean flooring ?
I regularly clean the carpets at some offices of a company who have karndean fitted in certain area,s , entrance, reception arras kitchens etc. the problem is the day to day cleaning of the offices is undertaken by a national company ,{ I wont name } and the flooring looks horrendous, swirls marks made by mopping ,dirty looking to the point that even the floor is sticky when walking on it. Whilst I was there the last time I did clean a small area just using a towel , it was black and the client could not believe it, I suggested he talk to the cleaning company recommending the cleaners use a neutral cleaner and to ensure the water is changed frequently , any way he has got back to ne wanting a clean and finish but wants to know exactly what the best product for the cleaners to use on a daily basis would be , apparently at the moment they do not seem to be taking any notice of his concerns.

So no cleaning agents at all, I did visit site today and was shown what they were using to clean the floor,
mops that looked like they had never been rinsed let alone cleaned , they were filthy , and herein I would say is the problem , even though they have been told.

A mop and bucket of water with detergent is the most effective way of spreading dirt around a floor. Even a 2 bucket system fails if the operator does not change the rinse water regularly, overdosing of detergent is another factor in attracting dirt.
Using microfiber flat mops works because it's the microfiber that cleans the floor, no need to use detergent, using minimal water is also beneficial drying time is quicker and the cloths can be changed and laundered. A lot more effective than rinsing a mop head in usually dirty water or even worse leaving the mop head to soak.
I would add that if the area's are large the the use of a scrubber/dryer with cylindrical brush would be the way to go.
