Title: Help outdoor mezzanine terrace
Post by: Simonb on April 12, 2019, 12:21:26 pm
3rd floor restaurant terrace access via restaurant and service elivator.

Terrace is white stone marble in style it's foam backed sitting on rubber spacers before the spacers sit on a membrane.
2years of grease and weather have left the slabs stinking.
We have no access to running water due to location  so rotary scrub and power wash are out.  So is the use of abrasive chemicals due to membrane and rubber pads any other options or is it scrub brush and hot water

Many thanks pics of kit be useful to

Just use a Mono Rotary machine Fitted with a Tank and a wet vacuum.  If there is no water supply on site just take a 40 Litre Aqua roll up with you

When you say no access to water are you referring to a outside tap to hook up to, there must be a hot water point in the restaurant.

I would clean as suggested by Kev, if this terrace has been open to the rain & snow over the last years  ( and they must have done some attempt to self clean it in the past ) then I can’t see how you could  do much harm

My apologies there is water but no external taps highend restaurant so can't run a hosepipe or connect on to taps

Then either use an Aquaroll as I suggested or get the restaurant to install an outside tap (usually less than £100)
