Title: Worst Excuses for not Having Paid

We've had worst excuses for 'not today please'. How about the excuses you get when you chase up payment.... 98%+ of my customers are prompt payers but we all get the occasional one. Recent excuses I've had are:



If it happens too often I usually drop them (can't be bothered to Go Cardless ).

I had one years ago that used to blame me for not getting paid by saying, “You always call when I’ve got no money”

Premier ship footballers wife's are my worst payers .Always fob me off on the door with I made a bank transfer .My reply can I give you my details again,Yes they reply so normally get paid that evening.But they do it again the following clean.

Generalizing I know but it's usually those with a new bmw or similar on the drive and botoxed and lip-fillered wife that are the worst payers. First couple of cleans are paid by cash they scrabble around for, followed by "can we pay online" , which is ok for the next couple then the late payment chasing begins. And ends very shortly after when they get dumped.
May be the best way to get money out of them is to start a credit line for them at 50% interest as that seems to be the way they buy everything else  ::)roll
