Your better off spending more on good quality wet vac but spending it once than keep repacing cr*p machines.
Give Kevin at Tiling Logistics a call, he does some good wet vacs.

FFS At that price I would want to be impressed as well. We sell 90 Litre triple motor vacs for a lot less than that!!!

I wouldn't know as I was told by someone at your place (online facebook chat) that they would call me on a specific date to chat about vacs and no one got in touch. I don't need a 90 ltr vac at present. The smaller one I've purchased is a nice size for me. I'm happy with the purchase.

I am truly sorry that someone did not get back to you however, Our telephone number and email together with address are widely published! We have one of the largest showrooms in Europe full of Machines and Vacuums ranging from 21, 37, 60 , 90 & 110 Litre Wet vacuums with and without pump out. We also carry a massive range of Supervak Dry vacs. I do not know whom you arranged to speak to on Facebook but a simple call or email would have enabled you to get any information you require on anything.

I appreciate the apology. I consider Facebook and emails to be very similar. Most of my business (at present) is done through Facebook so it was great that you guys have a page. I also messaged at a different time asking if there was any photos of the LTP wax on a floor (customer is looking for the highest shine possible on a victorian floor). Again I was told someone would get back to me, but no one ever did. I'm sure you can appreciate that as a customer, we can't be chasing these sort of things up. I wouldn't expect my customers to try and contact me through multiple formats. I'm not having a go, just trying to provide constructive feedback on the experience. :)

All I can think of is that you caught us when we were moving premises recently when a couple of things did get missed but we usually reply immediately or within a couple of hours. Considering that we take around 30+ enquiries every day we generally do well in our response time.

So if someone could get back to me about the LTP Wax, that would be great.

What is it you need to know about LTP Wax? They do two different ones
Clear
Antique
They have an excellent Helpline:
www.ltp-online.co.uk
They also have a brilliant technical helpline 01823 666213
or if you tell me what you need to know I will try to help. It is also a good idea to purchase a Union Mix brush to apply the wax. Alternatively have you tried calling Tilemaster for Technical Help?

hi Kevin,
As per another post I did, customer has a victorian floor which cleaned up nicely after being stripped. The lady wants a high shine if possible. The LTP wax says this is possible. I'm looking to know if there is any photos of it having been applied (clear option).
The wax that Tilemaster sells wouldn't be suitable as you can only purchase matt or satin.
Or is there a different option that could be suggested for the customer?
Thanks.

As you can imagine over the years all questions and problems keep getting repeated. In an effort to avoid repeating advice over and over I wrote several guides to various problems. One of those guides I wrote is on the Cleaning, Restoration and Sealing of Victorian and Edwardian Floors. I have also uploaded it to this forum! Have you read it? If not do a search and read it please then if you still need help come back to me.

Thanks for the link Kev, I tried for a while but just couldn't locate it. The cleaning side is cool, I follow the same process at present. On to the sealer,
"Impregnating Sealer
This is my preferred method and the better wearing one. Apply Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal which is a penetrating enhancing sealer and will enrich and enhance the tiles and leave them looking wet but with no shine. Once the sealer is cured you can give them a quick clean with a soft white pad and some pH Neutral Cleaner to make sure there are absolutely no traces of sealer on the surface. Then you have two choices you can either put a sheen on using the LTP Wax method above or we have a very unique system that essentially recreates a natural patina on them. This system will be launched in the next few weeks at our upcoming training days."
Do you still stock the Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal? I have had several customers in the past (including this current one) who loved the look of the floor when it still had a wet look after cleaning it. The fact that you say you can put the wax on to create a sheen is quite fantastic as it fits the bill. Let me know if you have that product in stock at present, also I guess I would need the brush you mentioned so if that is in stock great. The rotary I have is not a Klindex, but a Bimack (Conan). Let us know if it is compatible.
Thanks again for the link. It is always great to be able to offer another type of finish to a clients floor.

We no longer stock Aqua Mix but we do sell PSRP Enrich & Seal which is actually better. We also sell the union mix brush to fit your machine! Your machine by the way is a Klindex Kroma with the helmet painted Orange and Bimack stencilled on to it. The only difference is your machine has a 12 Month Warranty but Klindex come with a 2 Year Warranty. They are fabulous machines and represent excellent value for money! Let's face it for something of that build quality for only £1124 + VAT you can't go wrong can you?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the info on the sealer and what is now available. Created an account last night so will price this new option up and put it to the client. Forgive the ignorance here, I'm not familiar with the union brush, what applications does it have? Useful to know going forward with regards to jobs.
Italian build quality is certainly something....got used to lifting the weight off the van quite quickly ;)

I have no record of you opening a trade account! Did you call the office and do it or did you email your details? The Union Mix brush is for specifically applying waxes to floors.

Hi Kevin,
I registered last night on the website. I opened it under the business name, Squirrel Property Services.
Thanks for the info on the brush.

The website doesn’t give you a trade discount. You need to either email us to tilinglogistics@hotmail.com all your details or ring us on 0121 773 9129 and we can set it up for you

Yes I did thanks.
Any chance you could delete my mobile number from that post please.
Experian tells me it doesn't like it being there.
