Title: Gone through 2 univalves last 6 months

I know they dont last forevet but have gone through 2 in 6 months.
They are a good piece of kit I admit that.

The second I started using them I'm gitting lots of misfires so to speak with the univalves. Tried two so far with the same result. No problem turning them on, but having to pull really hard to get them to switch off for some reason. Can't think why that might be. I've taken one apart and regreased it with silicon grease but not tried it yet.

They started off, by not turning off fully. I did use Gardiners reinforced pole hose which is good but very stretchy.
I think that was the problem because I ended up pulling too hard to allow for the stretch in the hose.
Now using Green pu hose so i'll see how I go. Good product though but the time you add on the VAT and delivery you're getting near 50 squid.

Just send them back to steve and he will sort it or replace.
