KLINDEX TRIP TO ITALY - CONCRETE POLISHING COURSE
I have booked a trip to the Klindex Factory in Italy for a Concrete Polishing Course! I possibly have two spare places on the trip.
FLIGHT DETAILS
The flight is from London Stansted to Pescara. We will be flying out on Sunday 14th May at 1.45 pm and landing at 5.20 pm local Italian time. The return trip is on Thursday 18th May departing Italy at 11.05 am and landing back in Stansted at 12.45 pm local UK Time.
CONTENT
The emphasis of this trip will be concrete grinding, hardening, filling and polishing! I have requested Klindex to solely concentrate on this and I have booked Nino Tauro to do the training together with Marco. There may Possibly be time to do one other substrate such as Marble / Limestone, Granite or Wood! However we will only probably have time to do one of these and I intend to plan this time permitting on what the majority want to cover.
The majority of visits to Klindex in Italy are made by people who are thinking about getting into floor restoration and to this end Klindex normally take you into a classroom and cover most of their machines in 2 days with a view to selling you a machine! This course is different in that, it will dedicated in the main to concrete and will be conducted at an outside training area. Therefore you should only consider attending if you want to improve your knowledge of or, break into concrete polishing and restoration market. I only have 2 Spare Places.
COST
The cost of the actual course is Free. However, with flights and hotels, the overall cost is anticipated at around £350 per person. Please bear in mind that this is only for the return flight from Stansted and 4 nights hotel accommodation. It does not include travel to and from or parking at Stansted. It also does not include the cost of meals or refreshments in Italy with the exception of breakfast each morning in the Hotel.
BOOKING
To book a place on this trip you need pay £150 deposit (Non Refundable) to cover the cost of the flight together with a scan copy or photocopy of a valid passport by Friday 31st March. The deposit is NON- REFUNDABLE as I have the flights on hold with the airline and will be booking and paying on Friday evening. You will then pay your own hotel bills in local currency or by card at the hotel. I have done it this way because If I do it all I have to charge VAT.

Let me figure out why I said I cant go and will give you a call.
If someone wants it before me then take their booking.
It may be the TACCA day or a particular restoration that week if it goes ahead that may have been my reasons.
Either that or the Mrs has asked me to do something and my selective hearing kicked in.

You probably won't enjoy this trip too much anyway as there is an Alcohol ban (Well for Jocks anyway ;D ;D)

Thank you all for attending the course in Italy last week. It was the biggest group we have ever taken. I think however, everyone enjoyed it, as usual I have to say a Big Thank You to Ercole and Klindex themselves. The course I thought was very well organised tailored to concrete as I had requested and I think everyone got lots out of it. I look forward to seeing all of you on the advanced concrete polishing course later in the year.

I took a lot from it and tried 1 of the things I learnt today and it sorted my problem
