Hi,
Just wondering what type of van we all use as this might help me on which vehicle to buy.
Regards
Craig ;)

Hi.... we bought a bedford rascal. Its like a tardis. Looks very small on the outside but loads of room inside.
2 sliding doors a tail lift at the back. We went with magnetic signs so if we resell it there is no lettering to worry about. Ladders are easy to lift on and off when you are on the kerb.....you could do worse than buy one of these. Cheap to run, tax and insure.

Ford Escort 1.8 Diesel plus a K+H roofrack which has a roller bar at the back to save needing arms with two elbows! It also has cleats, which make tying the ladders on an absolute breeze.
Used to have a Diahatsu dinky toy which was great, a bit like Sunshine's Rascal, but there was only about 1/8" of metal between your toes and the motor in front because the engine was under the seats. The only crumple zone was my size 10 boots :o

I have a Astra, not to keen on the lift up tail gate , am going to go for a Combo , or Partner

Mercedes VITO. Excellent van. No breakdowns. No lost days. Bit big, but we used to use it for contract cleaning as well. Got alu roofrack with roll bar. (really important if going for transit size van)

Hello,
Nissan Sunny Hi-Cube van. Ex-Gas board, not seen many around. Love the fact that I have two back doors (i.e. no lifty-uppy tailgate), and don't skelp my head on the ladders.
Used to use a P reg 3 series, but impractical. That is a 1976 3 series Land Rover, not a BMW (I wish!) :P
Keep Warm!
