just been on the smartseal driveway cleaning course been a useful informative day some areas covered were really good information and some seemed to be like they were basically just giving examples of work that each one of there products would cater for, if ur serious about setting up a driveway business or as a sideline to your current business well worth a look they build nice website too

Did they mention any way to remove the black lichen spores that you can get on drives  patios?

Also did they cover PIC and the effects to the binding agent used?

i think if you sprayed fungicidal wash over ya paving and leave for a few days to soak in to the paving and start working then pressure wash you may find that would work

Did they say hot gets lichen off. I need to do the resiblock course again - I need some more mugs, the t shirts are great rags, you get loads of pens and a drum of sealer

The fungicidal wash wash is more for things like moss and algae.If i remember rightly he mentioned that an area around a hot tub was clear of lichen due to the chlorine in the water and recommended trying that as a pre treatment.

People on here frown upon the use of chlorine or bleach - it has its place but hot removes it and chemicals ain't cheap and adds time

yeah thats right i cudnt remember what was said to be honest werent paying all that much attention after having 3 hours kip!!!!!!!

I found out too late about this course so couldnt get on it  :'( sounds like it was quite good lets hope they plan to do more

resiblock is the best  8)
