Why is it when they are pre-spraying that the HWE side goes alot darker....mmmmm.

Clever bit of marketing if you ask me, where if you manufacture the situation you can create any picture you want.
Do we know if that was actualy a very clean bit of carpet where the pre-spray for the bonnet actually contained a small amount of brown stuff, whilst for the HWE the brown stuff was put into the solution tank.....and then you get the result you want to show off?
BTW I use both systems and neither is perfect, it's just a case of using the best system for the situation you're in at the time.

We bonnet all the time and even I can see this is a totally ridiculous comparison.
A light pre-spray and a dry bonnet will mean that half of the carpet will be virtually dry when you go over it again so of course you will not you will not pick up any more dirt on the bonnet.
The HWE side will still be wet so you will pick up dirt on the bonnet.
This does not prove which is the cleanest.
We all know this is complete b*****s but the general public will be fooled so it will achieve what it sets out to do.
