Title: 1st week and new business going well
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on April 23, 2010, 11:05:05 pm
Well my round builder has done a weeks knocking for me now and its all going really well (couple more weeks to go yet) ! Their a cracking pair of guys. I'll have them back for sure when I want more work.

Got onto a large estate of nothing smaller than mainly 4 beds. There are 3 companys on their plus me. One guy water fed, an old trad guy and 'the mafia' as their known.

Couldn't have hoped for better ;D

Days are long and hard work with them all being first cleans. But look past that and I've got a good round building up.

Well done, JP.  I don't think I would want to start from scratch again.  How many customers have these canvassers got you and what's the payment terms for them?

Sounds like you have some good lads canvassing. Well done.

I think the challenge of building from scratch while hard could be rewarding esp if you can get right all the things that you get wrong in the early days.

Just had a count up.... 58 customers

Building a round yourself is good, my wife and I built up our last round between the two of us.

Its just dam hard work. We decided that it would make more sense to pay a round builder as it took us 6 months between us to build the previous round up to what we needed.
