my glides came this morning, but what I need to know is how to fit them :'( should the holes be flush with the original steel lips on the wand? as mine seems to have a half inch gap either end of the wand as if it needs trimming to fit flush! thought i'd better ask before I got adjusting ;D
thanks
John

John as long as the open vac slot is covered by the teflon glide i dont think it really matters also if you have told them exactly what type of wand you have i am sure they will have given you the right length.

hi andy
yes they knew which wand it was for,but if you look at the wand from the side there is about a half inch gap so it looks as if it will draw more air in that way than through the holes? :'(

John i think you will find wants you slide it on it fits like a glove and there is no room for airflow at the sides.
apologies if you try it and i am wrong but then again it shouldn.t prove too difficult to slide back off.

thanks! I'll have a go! ;D

hi andy! all sorted now.......it woudn't slide on because it was a prochem 11" wand with side shields on it so they were in the way and so stopping it being slid on :'( but not to worry they fit another wand I have fine! ;D they must have sent the wrong glides!
thanks

Which wand do you have ?
and which glide (no) was sent to you ?

I have a prochem 11" 4 jet wand that I was going to put the glides on but they have fitted on a 12" cmp wand instead, never mind I have lips to fit on the prochem wand now! so i'll try them out too. ;D
