Domestic pressure washing
do you use the customers water supply or bring your own ie bowser ibc on truck etc
and do you clarify this in your estimate
-
I always use the customers water. I also can carry 1000 liters of water
-
I've always just used the customers supply myself.
-
Customer supply always
-
The reason I ask is i've just cleaned a domestic house crazy paving paths timber decking and a set of garage doors
used the fellas supply
you would think I had asked to borrow his wife
moaning on for half a hour on how his water meter was going into overdrive
complete tossed
ended up knocking of 20 quid to shut him up
-
here in North Somerset water is less than 70p per 1000 liter £7 per day Ask him for a refund.
-
i'd have said ok you clean it i'm off.
-
i'd of used my own water and charged an extra £40 ;D
-
If on a water meter i always knock at bit off!!! Average cost per 1000 litres is about 60p which could be £6.00 a day so i knock off 5/10 % of job! This keeps the custie happy!!! Also have a hydrant licence so if there is an issue we can supply water but then charge 5/10% more!!!

Alan how much does your hydrant licensce cost, and are you charged for how much you use?
