Has anyone got one of these machines?
I need something small and light to throw in the back of the van for city centre flats where my TM can't get (lift not big enough) just wondered what they are like??
Apparently they both have a single 3 stage vac motor and 135psi pumps.

Friend of mine has a Sensei and thinks it's wonderful.
He'd rather use that then either his Ninja or Diamondback.

I have a Sensei but only use it for Stain removal jobs or very small upholstery cleaning jobs. I don't use it for carpet cleaning. I am not sure you would find it powerful enough for carpet cleaning. IMHO you need at least two vacs.
It has been very reliable and is very easy to lift and move around.

I think the sensei has the option of a strap on extra vac.Regards Alan(swindon)

Shaun go for 2 vacs the extra weight will be no more than your wallet on a bad day ;D ;D

Ever seen that Alltec Fast track advert for Empty Pockets?
My thoughts were to get a vac booster and go for light weight and a smaller machine, I keep going back to a the Airflex but I went to look at a new set of apartments today which had no lift so we are now back to the weight problem.
Wonder if the Airflex pro 2 vac and 600psi would be reasonably light?

Shaun if the lady in mikes post can get the machine upstairs in her flip flops well need i say any more ;D

I had a sensei some years ago pound for pound as size etc I would say this machine,it now comes with heater,it does pack a punch :o

Galaxy is ok for a small machine but i think the psi is 100 not 135 and you cant use any more than 15 ft of hose before it loses suction.

My tripple Airflex is 48 Kilo's, one less vac would probably not make a huge difference, but it does have good big wheels and is not too cumbersome, not sure you'd need the 600psi pump, 200 would do so that would save a bit. The Alltec aqua upgrade is a great all rounder and has heat. http://www.alltec-direct.co.uk/aqua-upgraded-p-327.htmlI tend to agree that a twin is the way to go. Not used the ones you mentioned but expect to work a lot slower.

I have a Sensei as a backup for my Ninja.
You do notice the lack of a second vac, but it wil still clean a carpet and is great for spotting. Also if you use a small/toy wand like the one in the yellow flip flop youtube video, the suction is still pretty good.

I'd use this machine for close range cleaning not exceeding 25ft but the more a read the more I think I need a more powerful machine now to work out which Airflex?
135psi looks so cheap and for the work I need it for is value for money or do I upgrade to 200psi and go for a heavier machine or just go and blow the budget and sing and danve with the tripple vac 600psi?
Wonder if the 200psi, 2 x vac needs 2 plugs?

200psi and 2 vacs shaun will be one plug, i would go for a powermax if i was you, not the galaxy.

Shaun imo the fact you have a tm and only need it for flats the 2 vac 200psi would be my choice

Still a lot of folks on here using twins with 135psi pumps, still do a fantastic job. the Airflex pro 200psi with twin vac is a good buy but the turbo tripple vac takes you a big step further away from where you started the thread, but as a back up machine to a truckmount it would be my choice.

Shaun,
I saw the Airflex Turbo at Carpex and thought it looked pretty good. All the guys ive spoken to that have one have said that due to the large rear wheels its fairly easy to get up steps / stairs. If you decided to go for the Airflex Turbo 600psi it would be a good investment. If you were on a job using your truckmount and ran out of fuel or broke down you could simply plug the Airflex in with it in the van, put the hose from the tank into your TM fresh water tank and start cleaning knowing that you will be able to do a fine job. If you choose a porty with 2 vacs then you will really notice the difference at the wand. Im not saying the Airflex Turbo will have the vac power of your TM but it will have very good vac power.
