Hi,
I was recently working away in a customers home (on carpets)
and they asked me to clean a small suede chair for them. I have cleaned many, many carpet and fabric upholstery but never have I touched Suede! Wishing to keep the customer as a regular of mine I agreed to clean it on next visit!
Any pointers, tips and advice on suede cleaning. It may only be a small job but it is another service I'd like to offer anyway.
Any advice greatly apreciated.

These are 30 years old suede chairs (10) that has penetrated grease and sun-faded.
It’s been stripped of foreign contamination with a leather-safe pH 4.4 leather Prep.
Clean with a leather-safe pH 3.8 leather Cleaner and rinse with a leather-safe pH 3.0 leather Acidifier Rinse.
The penetrated body grease from the upper back was degreased with a pH 2.2 Degreaser and rinse-off with a pH 3.0 Rinse.
The color bounces back due to additional process of leather rejuvenation; using a pH 3.3 Hydrator and a pH 5.0 Fatliquor.
Ever wonder; why the emphasis on the pH value?

Roger,
Top job.
I think a job like that is best left to the experts. It's gaining that level of technical expertise that is the problem.

The customer was impressed, I was told...willing to go one further step...to restore the color back 100% to showroom condition.
Well, this is an example of a job when it's well done; customer is willing to pay extras to have it done the next level...full color restoration to realize its fullest potential.
By the way, this job is done by someone in Detroit, USA.
I just do the free consultation by providing a workable system of processes through the other leather cleaning and restoration forum.
Will keep you posted of the ultimate result!
