Title: Oldest squeegee rubber?
Post by: Sir Squeaky on April 21, 2010, 10:53:55 pm
I bet I've got the oldest squeegee rubber in every day use. ;D

I keep meaning to order a new batch, but keep forgetting...
It's gone so "blunt" on the ends it's nearly round!

There isn't a good edge on it.
I use it every week on my shops, and most days on the odd door or bungalow.

Tosh gave me it...

...about September. ;D

What a pro.

I know. I just don't get around to it. Too much to think about at the moment.

Every week I do the shops I think "This will be much easier next week...", but it never is. ;D

Just order them from Wintechs; next day delivery!

I always have loads of them; Wor Lass won't work without a new squeegy rubber a couple of times a week at least!

Or I could save you up her old ones?
 ;D

whats a squegee

That's the tool that embarrasses and slows those WFP 'only' window cleaners down when they've got to clean the insides of offices and stuff.

September.lol I've had the one in my track since sept 2008.

Still going strong used every day. some days all day. nuts because when I was trad only I'd have lengths that were kackerd after a day.

I think a "squegee" is like a wedgie, only you squeal more. ;D

That's not a problem Steve...just turn the water off and brush the flood out of the door... ;D

I change them every 2 days and flip them in between ( a day a side )
if i run out of rubber in between and have to wait i hate it
