I know this is done time and time again but my partner is doing a 10 mile midnight walk in aid of a local hospice that my step daughter Danielle goes too its not until July but want to start the sponsor early,
I don't know if you know it but it's called Chestnut tree hospice(http://www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk/) and for most of you that know me would know how much this place has helped me and my family. Danielle has a condition called Tuberous sclerosis complex, which is a life threating and life limited condition, which is devastating for all of us, Danielle is 8 years old and is such a loveable cheerful little girl and anyone that knows her loves her to bits. The condition has affected her life to such that she has aggressive seizures upto 10 times a day which are uncontrolled anyone of those could take her life, ADHD, Austism, Gobal delay, kidney problems, speech and language delay. I'ts like living with a time bomb!!!
Chestnut tree hospice are a great support not only do they offer respite with a team of nurses which work round the clock but they invite the whole family so you can spend quality time with the children. They also offer support when times are hard, and importantly when that dreaded day comes i know they will help us through as a family. I can't and don't want to think about life without my Danielle but I know one day we will, but without this place we would struggle. they couldnt do what they do without the money to run this place which is not goverment funded!
So please please donate and sponser my partner to help us give back something to such a wonderful place!!! it doesn't matter how little or how much you give as it all adds up and I thank each and everyone of you!
Also it will stop my misses moaning about me coming on here as much as I do as she will know how much you guys help.....
heres the link http://www.justgiving.com/michaela-poolton

Guys, dont know if you have read the first post, I never did just glanced at it.
RWC is one of ours, an hard working window cleaner and needs our support.
His Daughter has Tuberous sclerosis complex, which is a life threating and life limited condition,
The condition has affected her life to such that she has aggressive seizures which are uncontrolled anyone of those could take her life, ADHD, Austism, Gobal delay, kidney problems, speech and language delay. I'ts like living with a time bomb!!!
At the risk of sounding like Bob Geldof "Get your hands in your pockets" please
-
Thanks Dave,
This is a very important thing to me and partner as what these people do day in and out is unreal I just hope none of
you have to experience entering one of these places as its heart renching when you look around and see children
with big smiles on there faces but you know deep down why they are there and that they may only have a few days left,
The worst thing is arriving and seeing a ribbon on the door which means that a young one has passed,
Although Danielle isnt mine I have played a part in the whole of her life so I look at her as being one of mine, My own
Daughter is 3 weeks older and I use to find it hard when my own Daughter said her 1st word, told me about her 1st
Day at school, had her 1st swimming lesson, you get my drift. One of the hardest things ive ever heard my partner say
is "this is the song I want playing at Danis funeral". How anyone can be prepared for that moment I dont know, Its
one expierence I could never imagine, when this song now plays Dani always says "Dani and Mummys song"
I dont expect everyone to donate those I thought would, have (except Charlie Price ;D) I just know how much local
Charity is suffering......
Thanks for reading and thanks to all ;)

To every new reader on this post or those who have not donated at least £1, This guy, his missus and little baby girl are just over half way on target to help others to have a little happiness,
Help them hit it!!
£500 between all the people on here is about £1 each, £1 really does help. (I count 500 as this is the amount of people I know on here) it is more like 10,000, so 25p each if you all want to add aswell ;)
I raised over £2000 2 years ago on here when my neice died.
£1 each or more come on you tight gits.
If you have kids think a little ;)
They now Have £255 the target £500
Make it happen readers ;)

Thanks Ian, I remember when you put the sponsor on here, I was the first to donate ;) if yours hadnt of done so well then I would never of thought about doing this myself, it was the pure generosity of my fellow shiners that made me put this post up as they where so generous....nearly all the money raised so far is from the guys on here.... when you donate you can hide the amount you sponsor...as Ian said even if its only £1 it really does help
Thanks Again
Chris & Kala

I was even thinking of doing a world cup competition where people donate a certain amount and a team is drawn out of a hat and allocated to each person, then the winner wins a prize i.e a clx or something similar, was going to contact Gardiners but theyve donated enough to the cause,
Can anyone else think of a way to raise more....
To all those who have donated a MASSIVE thank you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I hope people keep donating.
With the help of people on here I raised well over £2000 for cancer reasearch in memory of my Neice Summer, today would have been Summers 5th birthday :(
if you have kids please give a little to help someone else out, I know when I kiss my boys tonight before they go to sleep I will think how lucky I really am, money means nothing to many people, but can change so much for others.
For adding a pound you could win a prize more so you could really help someones child smile just a little easier, so get your plastic out and help make a difference. ;)

The walk is being held on
Saturday, July 3, 2010.
I will speak to Karl at Robinson Solutions to find out when he wishes to do the draw....

UPDATE.........
I have just been contacted by a manufactrer who has kindly donated a prize to kalas charity walk, I havent been told much about this prize as its underwraps and he doesnt want to use this charity as a advertising ploy, he wouldnt even tell me want company he was from, all I can tell you is its worth about £100, he is sending it to me in the next 2 weeks as just waiting for a componant and its down to me to draw the winner and forward it on. The prize will only be seen by him, me and the winner, im going to put all the people who have donated £10 or more into this draw and anyone who has donated any amount will still stand a chance of winning the wagtails....So any window cleaners please donate

HI guys,
First of all I just want too appologise for not replying too this thread earlier.
I got a call form P@F today and he told me he had been running a comp on here (good chatting with you)
http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=115796.140
and the winner either got a pump or £25, the winner decided too donate the money too the charity in this thread,
I would just like too thank all those who helped raise money as these charitys are finding it tough since the goverment decided recentley not too help in any sort of way...
Thanks All
Chris
