Title: cleaning solutions
Post by: kevin davies on April 21, 2010, 08:49:32 am
Hi,
Still a newbie but slowly getting there i think...? after hours, days ,weeks of searching and reading threads i have decided on which porty to buy . Just looking for advice on what you  would consider to be the basic cleaning chemicals to always have to hand for extraction and bonnet cleaning i know the list could probably go on for while, a bit like the question what "whats the best porty to buy " is their a selection you would consider being the minimum any help would be appreciated.

regards
Kev Davies

In My Van

Powerburst
Multipro
Nemisis
Ultrapac
DFC 105/210
Split X Premium, Wool X
Pure Clean
Fusion 8
Clearwater Rinse

Spotters and treatments

Spray&Go
Energiser
Solvall + Solvex
Citrus Gel.

Most of the above can be used in various dilutions for spotting or varying degrees of soil, remember always follow manufactures instructions.

At the moment i'm using Split x premium or wool x most of the time, ocasionally boosted with Nemisis or Energiser. I also have a lot of time for Fusion 8 excellent product. If I was starting out I would have a Microsplitter rinsing with warm water + powerburst flushed with acidic rinse. That would get you started then take a look at others and try them, Prochem do a great range but there are others. Most or us take a bit from each but it would be good to find a local supplier whom you can build a relationship with as they can be worth their weight in gold even if you do have pay a little more or order online, Restormate and Cleansmart supply various manufactures so can be a one stop shop. Others like Solutions Cornwall supply their own range like Fusion 8 and M-Power.
