i wouldnt buy anything from brodex again because of the service one gets. i have bought a 60ft pole and pole tube at a cost of 1500, amongst other transactions. i recently bought the 2 hydrapoles that were on offer and only one arrived. i phoned them and told them and they sent me a new pole out. when i got the new pole, it had no brush or crank assembly. phoned them yet again, and they sent out the brush etc. when i got the pole out of the box it didnt have the male connection that goes into the hoselock fitting. rings them again 3 weeks ago, still no fitting....richy

yes my mate had the wrong brush size , then they forgot to send the goose neck to him .
i think brodex is over rated .
just got back and the pole is sticking ,ive loosend the clamp a bit but the hole thing spins round now , there is definatly a high spot on pole number 2 .
this is not good .

A bare pole means no hose and gooseneck just the pole and clamps but the clamps are fitted
and Brodex have their own workshop (factory) where they make the poles

Brodex customer service is NOT "second to none" as they claim.

Their offers and deals however; no one even comes close.

I bought a pole from Facelift a few years back. 56ft Carbon Fibre. An excellent bit of kit.

I bought 11 poles from Brodex at the end of last year, all with a 3 year guarantee, for less than the 1 Facelift pole.

Granted the Hydra 3YG's are not the same standard, they are alloy so they are heavier, but they are chuffing good poles at a chuffing good price.

I just wish Brodex would sort out their distribution & customer service. To be fair to them they have always delivered (eventually) on what they have promised. To me anyway.

I got the new brodex pole and it turned up without the gooseneck !! I was really annoyed. Just about to ring them when I realised I'd not dug deep enough into the packaging !!!!!  ;D

Only got the one pole off them after a recommendation from a friend. it all turned up and works really well so I'm afraid no complaints from here.

.Phone and e mail them If you sand it will work but you will penetrate the get cote and this will start a de laminating process. as water can get into the fibres.
I build a yacht and have a lot of experience with fibre glass and carbon products
