Title: 1st clean..thank God for trad pole!!!
Post by: dazmond on April 19, 2010, 05:38:55 pm
rolled up at 830 at new commercial job(old big pub converted into offices on a main road)and my 3.5 metre ladders were nt long enough to reach the top windows properly.the glass had bits of paint/silicone on some so i gets  my unger 4 section(25ft)trad pole out and scrubs away then scraper on pole! ::) ::)i managed to get most of the paint/silcone off.i dont think wfp would have done the job! ::)it was a real pain and took me 2 and a half hours!

im pretty sure its ready for wfpoling next time.

they want it cleaned every 6 weeks for £60. ;) ;D ;D

maybe just over an hour wfp hopefully! ;)

how do some of you wfp guys go on with 1st cleans that require scraping?

ive done most of the hard work with these windows now! ::) ;D ;D

It's a trad job first time Daz if there's silicone etc. on the glass. Sounds like you've done what's required. wfp next time. ;)

Also try using Oil flo or t cut it works brilliantly on sealant, just apply with a squeegie on the end of you pole, a quick scrapp with a scraper which also fits on the end of your pole, then rinse off with pure water, job done, £60 thank you very much, next one please ;D
