hi
i do a fair number of conny roof cleans, i use wfp , and either a step ladder or a short ladder with a stand off, have been looking at getting a conservatory ladder to reach akward parts, ie where one side is right next a fence ect.
they are a bit pricey though, what do you use ?

By law every roof, including conservatorys must be safe to walk on. If you want to try it go ahead, I never have.

I'd take that "law" with a pinch of salt ::)
Quite a few buildings roofs around our way have that corrugated type that cannot ever be walked on safely

Conservatory Ladders should be fine as this is what they are designed for and they spread the load between 2 of the roof struts. I would never consider walking on a conservatory roof though.
I would mainly use a pole Ian as this seems the safest option.
If you do need to use a conservatory ladder I would firstly ask the customer "Who did the conservatory build?, DIY or Professional Installer? DIY could in some cases mean it was bodged.
Secondly I would do a visual inspection to look for any obvious signs of potential failure of roof components.
I would recommend being insured for this type of work.

ive never needed conny ladders!!
use a stand off and a ladder if you need to reach on the far side of a roof thats against a fence and wfp it while your up the ladder!! ;) ;D
JOB DONE!!
