Hi Graham
some years ago i bought a rag tail mop - strips of leather on a piece of string to form a ball - its in my shed now its crap it just rolls the dirt around the window.
stick to microfibre or scrim, everyone to their own preference

regards

Brett

I'm sure the new tools are quicker and work better these days, but it was the only way for years before, so they must do a reasonable job.

When I was a car valeter I always used Vileda synthetic ones.
About a million times better and more absorbent than the real thing.

Try one, if only for your van. :D

I like to use them on the leaded stuff but find myself using the ungers more and more prob like you cos the shammy went dry
Funnily enough when I started the wc my mother said 'do you put the shammy in an old jar' - apparently thats what they used to do to keep them damp ;)
